Greg Koukl challenges the popular idea—shared even by some religious thinkers like Dennis Prager—that God’s existence can’t be proven. Greg explains that different kinds of proof exist and makes the case that philosophical, deductive reasoning can, in fact, offer valid and even certain arguments for God’s existence. He breaks down a classic deductive proof based on the cause of the universe, showing how a “big bang” needs a “big banger.” Greg also gives tactical advice for responding to atheists who demand evidence—asking them to define what kind of proof would satisfy them before engaging further.
