I share my powerful journey of transformation—from my roots in a Catholic family in Puerto Rico to a life-changing encounter with the Gospel that redefined my identity. Facing cultural and language challenges after moving to Central Florida, I experienced a period of rebellion until I discovered true acceptance in Christ. This encounter compelled me to leave behind Catholicism and embrace a vibrant new faith. Today, as the senior pastor of High Pointe Baptist Church in Austin, Texas, I lead a diverse community that reflects the unity found in Christ, and I strive to share this life-changing message with others.

Interview with Juan Sanchez.

Juan Sanchez was converted from Catholicism into the Christian faith. Shortly after his conversion, Juan began a journey into full time ministry filled with crazy, God-ordained circumstances, including time on the United States’ worst naval ship.

Juan currently serves as president of the Southern Baptist Convention of Texas and is a council member for the Gospel Coalition. Juan is the senior pastor at High Pointe Baptist Church.
