Ricky’s story begins with a lifelong passion for aviation. From a young age, he dreamed of flying and eventually trained as a pilot, hoping to serve with Mission Aviation Fellowship.
But as his journey unfolded, Ricky sensed that this path wasn’t where God was leading him. He learned an important lesson—not just the willingness to go, but the willingness to obey God whether that meant going or staying.
Ricky is honest about life’s challenges. Becoming a Christian didn’t remove hardship, but it gave him something deeper: the assurance that God is always present, even in difficult seasons.
He also reflects on faith itself, suggesting that believing everything came about by chance requires its own kind of faith. He gently challenges unbelievers to consider the historical evidence for the resurrection and to explore the truth for themselves.
This is a story about calling, obedience, and trusting God’s plan—even when it leads in unexpected directions.
