“For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world.” John 2:16

My 37 years have been in servitude to the sins of this world and to that of the flesh. I turned to serve money, greed, appearances and false idols rather than to the will of God. I stood rooted in acquiring, accomplishments and attainment first and foremost which led me to play on a teeter totter of self-indulgent truths in my search for deeper meaning when those things did not fulfill me. I had never chosen to seek God’s approval, only that of myself and others. Probably because by seeking Him, I knew that my sins and the flesh that had been guiding me would be called in to question to change. Instead I let my Spirit-less flesh in this world dictate my route. This is a journal of my humble re-birth into the truth of Jesus Christ in hopes that my vulnerable journey may help others.
