Carmela grew up fearful of the day of Jesus’ return. Because of this fear, she did all that she can to serve Him. Her eyes were opened to how she was supposed to do good works. She realized that doing good works didn’t factor in her being saved but rather, she should be doing good works because she loved God. With a new perspective, she has been serving God with gratitude ever since. One of the service opportunity she had was the task of debriefing Tacloban PNP during the aftermath of Typhoon Yolanda.
