My name is Matt. I’ve struggled with alcoholism for about seven years, bouncing in and out of rehab and feeling lost. My turning point came when my sister invited me to an ‘At The Movies’ event at LCBC in Clarks Summit. Initially, I had chosen nature as my higher power, but as I experienced engaging presentations that linked movie clips with Biblical teachings, I discovered a true, trusting relationship with Jesus. Today, I’m celebrating six months of sobriety, grateful for the community support and the transformative grace of God that has renewed my life.
