Marielon had to stop going to school to help work for her family’s needs when her father got axed from his job. With four more siblings after her, she didn’t think that she will be able to go back to school. This made her incredibly hopeless and ashamed of herself. It was by God’s grace that her mom found out about Uplift-ALS programs and enrolled her there. Not only is she now a graduate of the program, she also volunteers for other CCF ministries as well. She aims to finish her studies and be an artist some day.
