I never felt like I had a purpose until I reached my breaking point. At that moment, God spoke into my life saying, ‘If you quit and follow me I will show you your purpose.’ Growing up in West Virginia with a culturally Christian background, I attended church regularly but never really connected with the true nature of the gospel. As I struggled through school and felt lost amid the expectations of others, I eventually found myself testing God during my senior year. I prayed a bold prayer before a football game and experienced a moment that completely transformed me—an overwhelming confirmation that my true purpose wasn’t defined by my own efforts or by what I did with my hands, but was found in Jesus alone. That day, I learned that my identity and purpose are not self-made; they are found in Christ who calls us to be living sacrifices.
