Summary

SummaryI grew up in a small town in Louisiana, battling anxiety, depression, and self-destructive behavior for as long as I can remember πŸ˜”. By middle school, I was experimenting with alcohol, smoking, pornography, and eventually marijuana and harder drugsβ€”anything to numb the pain. Those highs became a dangerous cycle, leaving me dependent and at times facing life-threatening situations under gunpoint or in bad deals. One night, scrolling through my phone after work, I stumbled on a gospel message about Jesus’ forgiveness and new life. Desperate and with nothing left to lose, I prayed for Him to show up, not even knowing how to pray. From that moment in July 2017, everything changed. Though the journey hasn’t been easy and doubts still surface, Jesus has sustained me, healed my heart, and set me free from addiction, anxiety, and depression πŸ™Œ. Now, eight years later, I stand before you confident that His grace transforms even the lowest places into breakthroughs of hope.
