SummaryI’m the Stafford––we met at a humble summer camp in North Louisiana, and eight months into marriage we learned of my endometriosis diagnosis. When we discovered I was pregnant, we were overjoyed, calling our little one “our gummy bear.” But at 21 weeks the anatomy scan revealed our daughter wouldn’t survive outside the womb. Yet, in that moment, our faith in Jesus gave us a peace beyond understanding. We decided to cherish every single day with her as a gift from God. Every flutter, every heartbeat for those 15 weeks on earth was grace we never deserved. Even as tears fell, we praised God’s goodness: “God, You are good and this is happening. Help me get through.” Now we hold onto the hope that one day we’ll meet her in Heaven, healed and whole.
