Her family realized that she was getting too close to the television and that her writing on the board was incorrect. They had her eyesight checked, and it turned out that she had a deficiency of two and a half degrees in each eye, to the point that if she didn’t wear glasses, she wouldn’t be able to see anything. The talk about glasses bothered her. She asked the Lord for healing, fully aware that there are greater illnesses than hers.
Time passed, and she believed it was impossible for the Lord to hear her prayers because her condition seemed minor. Later, she heard about LASIK surgery but knew there were conditions, such as corneal thickness. When she underwent the examination, it was determined that the thickness allowed for the procedure. If she had been a quarter of a degree less, the surgery wouldn’t have been successful. This showed that God hears even the simplest needs, and no matter how long it takes, He responds.
