Ministry & Missions in Japan || A Japanese Testimony
Summary
I grew up in Japan, where being different wasn’t widely accepted, and Christianity was seen as foreign. As a teenager, I had the opportunity to study in America as an exchange student and lived with my first host family, who were Christian. Their genuine love and unique lifestyle opened my eyes, and I began questioning the limited view I had of faith. I soon realized that Christianity wasn’t just for a select few—it was real and available to me as an Asian girl. At a Sunday service, a pastor asked me if I believed that Jesus loved me, and without hesitation, my heart responded yes. That encounter transformed my life, and I accepted Him as my only Savior. Today, I carry that change with me, cherishing the community in my hometown of Minami (Meguro) and sharing my story to bridge gaps and build genuine relationships among believers.

Japan has less than a 1% Christian population. In a culture that values conformity over individuality, this is the story of how one life was forever changed.
