I grew up in a loving small town with church in my life, but I never truly had a personal relationship with God. As I grew older, unresolved abuse and shame led me down a dark path where I turned to alcohol to numb the pain. My marriage suffered and I lost purpose, leaving me feeling completely lost. At my lowest point, my father reached out and invited me to join a small group at LCBC Church. In that vulnerable moment, my heart opened up through tears, prayer, and genuine connection, and I experienced a profound breakthrough that brought me back to God. Today, I stand as a life changed by Christ—victorious over addiction and determined to never let the enemy control me again.
