I’m Officer Ali Perez. On September 25th, 2012, while serving a warrant in an apartment building, I was caught in a deadly shoot-out with a heavily armed suspect. That encounter changed everything: I found strength in forgiveness, and by His grace, I was given a second chance at life. Today, I continue to recover in the ER, testifying to the power of Christ’s mercy and the life-altering impact of His presence even in the midst of danger.
