It is a phenomenon that has been lamented for years — the many thousands of homeless street children living on the streets in Brazil. These are truly the throwaway children. The horror and scandal of their plight seems almost too dreadful to contemplate. But a Dutch couple with five children of their own, couldn’t sit by knowing of the countless young lives trapped in this kind of desperate situation. So Johan and Jeanette Lukasse went to Belo Horizonte in Brazil and began to work with the hopeless street children. Their work is bearing fruit. Young lives are being wonderfully salvaged as documented in this moving story of faith and hope for the most needy and endangered.
