Summary

In 2020, my doctors told me I had little time left as I battled stage 4 esophageal cancer. At an Encounter Conference, I waited in line for Father Mathias until he instructed me to have the children pray with me. Though initially resistant, I agreed when a little nine-year-old child boldly declared, ‘Well, they just don’t know who Jesus is.’ As the children prayed with heartfelt declarations—calling on the Holy Spirit and asking for healing—a warmth filled my lung, and in a miraculous turnaround, my subsequent CT scan came back completely clear. Now, after having been taken off chemotherapy and with my scans remaining clear for years, I give all glory to Jesus, testifying that only the power of the Holy Spirit and prayer can bring about such a healing miracle.
