TWO TIME SUPER BOWL CHAMP MATT STOVER
Summary
I am Matt Stover, a former NFL kicker and two-time Super Bowl champion. Throughout my career, the pressure was immense—from game-deciding kicks to setting records on the field. Despite my successes, there came a time when the weight of expectations and a painful season led me to a humbling moment. I missed a crucial field goal, and in that moment of despair, I fell to my knees and embraced a life-changing encounter with Jesus. It was at a Pro Athletes Outreach event that I truly understood the gospel and discovered that my identity was not just wrapped up in football, but in my relationship with Christ. Since then, my life has transformed; I now serve my community by ensuring professional athletes receive support through the Players’ Philanthropy Fund, working to maintain integrity and compliance so that my ministry and their brands remain untarnished.
