SummaryI started playing soccer when I was seven and excelled through college—until a sudden heart problem left me breathless after ten metres and wired up by doctors who warned I could die at any moment. Two years ago, friends from my JEM fellowship group—Veronica, Marina, Steve—prayed for me over Zoom. In faith, I laced up cleats and stepped onto the field, unsure if I could last a few minutes. Within weeks, my racing heart slowed; within months, I was sprinting, passing, and scoring again—just like in my college days, even outplaying my own son Josiah. All glory to Jesus for restoring my heart and gifting me new strength! 🙌⚽❤️

Scott played soccer since he was seven years old. He was very fit and athletic. However he developed a heart condition after college. He couldn’t hardly do anything, not even run 10 metres. Even lifting something heavy would leave him breathless with a racing heart. He sometimes would lay in bed for long periods with his heart racing. The doctor said he could be dead any second from his bad heart.
Scott received prayer from his JEM fellowship group. After 3 months he was completely healed. He now is able to run, play soccer and do anything he used to.
