To All,
On September 23rd of 2012 I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. I attached a video testimony that I gave to my church for a Baptism service that happened on Nov.4th 2012. It will explain a little bit more of what has been going on in my life.
I wasn’t really sure how I was going to share this testimony with everyone. I really believe that my story isn’t unique. Living in a self proclaimed “Christian Nation” I think it’s easy to deceive yourself into believing that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ without coming to a broken enough place to truly accept him as your own Lord and Savior.
I know what I am saying might not be popular but I can’t think of a more important question you can ask yourself, “Are you born again?” If you paused, I really encourage you to seek the answer before you continue on with your journey. Satan’s ultimate lie is convincing people they have salvation and in doing so it allows them to grow comfortable living a life of sin because after all Jesus will forgive you. (Don’t confuse this with forgiveness after salvation)
For some of you this has been an another affirmation of what Christ has already done/doing in your life. That’s awesome, if you feel like my testimony could help someone else feel free to share it. My prayer is that Gods glory will be revealed. It’s only by His grace that I am even able to share this testimony with you.
I also attached two links below of a sermon and series that were helpful in breaking me free from the lies.?Regardless of where you are at in your walk I encourage you to watch them.
I truly love all you guys and I hope I get the pleasure of worshipping Christ with you in the future.
Your Bro,
David C

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it. (Matthew 7:13, 14 NLT)
