My name is Sam, and I reached a point where I told God He had to prove Himself real or I’d walk away from faith. In a dramatic turn, the Lord met me in a powerful way at a ministry retreat. People I’d never met spoke about specific details in my life they could not have possibly known, revealing that God truly knew me. In one moment of prayer, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues and prophesying immediately—even seeing a giant angel. I went from being depressed, anxious, and addicted to being filled with God’s peace and purpose. Through these new spiritual gifts, the Lord has allowed me to pray for and encourage others, helping them find freedom in Christ. I’m just a normal person transformed by a crazy encounter with Jesus, and I want everyone to know He is real and wants a true relationship with each of us.
