SummaryI came to Cedar Creek Church because my daughter invited me. I knew of God before, but I didn’t really believe in Him until I began attending regularly. At first it was once a month, then every other week, and soon I was at church every single Sunday. Each week I’d go up for prayer, and many times I’d leave the auditorium sobbing in tears 😢. My daughter kept asking what was wrong, and I told her that I was simply tired—tired of doing life on my own. She encouraged me: ‘Mom, you don’t have to carry it alone; let God have it.’

One Sunday, on my way to church, I felt in my spirit: ‘God, I’m done—I give it all to You. Whatever You want me to do, I’ll do it.’ From that moment, over the next year, I grew deeper in my faith. I learned to trust God with my whole heart. I realized that the next step was baptism—to show the world that I belonged to Jesus. My daughter stood beside me in the baptism tub and baptized me that very day 🌊. Immediately afterward, I enrolled in Growth Track, and I knew without a doubt that I wanted to join the prayer team. Those prayer ministers had literally helped me find my way, and I wanted to be a light to someone else just like they had been for me 🙏.

Now, if someone is on the fence, I tell them: give it to God. Pray and ask Him to lead you. He will show you the way. I was once someone who didn’t believe in Him, and now I would lay down my life to show others that God does love you no matter what—He loves you in your mess and He loves you through everything ❤️.
