“When I came out of the water it was different. The lights in the church were different. They were brighter, I can’t describe it. It was just a magnificent feeling. I wasn’t really expecting to feel anything different but what I remember was a feeling of joy and happiness. Longing. Just so satisfying of a feeling. After you get baptized, you think everything in your life is going to change for the better but really, it was the same for me…everything in my life was the same, but my attitude towards it is now different.”
