Summary
SummaryI grew up in Lexington in a church family that looked perfect—but behind closed doors Dad’s rage darkened our home. As an adult I married Jean, whose drug and alcohol addictions dragged our marriage through 26 years of chaos. In March 2009 I finally stepped out in faith; God flooded my path with “new beginnings.” After caring for Jean until his death, the Lord transformed my pain into a passion for mentoring women in recovery at Grace Place, prison outreach, and street ministry with my new husband Dale. From victim to victorious, my hope is in Christ alone! 🙌
Carolyn shares how addiction has affected her life and how she has used that experience to relate to and minister to others.
