My name is Zainab. I courageously share my journey of overcoming deep grief and the bondage of addiction. Growing up in a mixed-religion household in Nigeria—with a Muslim father and a Christian mother—I was exposed to religious practices without truly knowing God personally. Despite attending church and school, I felt a void and struggled with destructive habits like pornography and masturbation. The turning point came when, amid personal crisis and profound loss, I encountered the transformative love of God. That encounter not only broke the chains of my addictions but also healed the wounds of grief, revealing to me that the Holy Spirit was calling my name. Today, I stand renewed, living with purpose and encouraging others to seek the intimate relationship with Jesus that has changed my life forever.
