“God has restored so many things in my life” From Rejected and Addicted to Accepted and Free
Summary
I grew up feeling unwanted and unloved, constantly battling rejection from my father and peers. That loneliness led me down a dark path of drug use and criminal activity. I turned to drugs like LSD, pot, and cocaine, even dropping out of school and getting involved in dealing. My life spiraled until I reached rock bottom—facing a 25-year prison sentence and the constant threat of violence. In prison, an inmate introduced me to the peace of Christ, and one fateful night, I experienced a transformation at the altar. I heard the chains of addiction break and felt freedom like I had never known. Since that day, I quit drugs, embraced a new life, and now serve as a full-time prison chaplain. I even reconciled with my father, all because Jesus accepted me unconditionally and restored everything in my life.
