The Bible seemed like a mere story until it eventually resonated with Chad. Jesus Christ was just a curse word, and rock and roll became his refuge from the chaos surrounding him. Chad’s perception of Jesus was marred by the hypocrisy he witnessed within his family and the Catholic faith. In search of solace, he gravitated towards drugs, alcohol, and rock and roll. Despite seeking help at various centres and engaging in a 12-step program, he found himself trapped in the same destructive patterns. The spiritual realm felt absent in his life.
