Growing up, I embraced rebellion through death metal music and atheism, fighting anyone who mentioned Jesus. Seeking answers, I plunged into drug use, especially psychedelics like DMT, and the New Age scene to uncover hidden truths. My friend and I started using a Ouija board, where a demon revealed itself and tormented my home. Terrified, I realized the reality of demons—and cried out to Jesus in desperation. The moment I repented and surrendered, I felt God’s peace flood me. That dark presence fled instantly, and I discovered that Christ offers what no New Age practice, drug, or self-made spirituality ever could: genuine salvation. Now, I rejoice in a new life dedicated to Him, free from the chaos and darkness that once surrounded me.

How death metal music led Colton into atheism, drugs, drinking, and demonic ouija board experiences, until God saved and transformed him! Colton was an arrogant, Jesus-scoffing atheist in the death metal scene, with drinking and drugs and new age beliefs. That all changed after he used a ouija board, and was attacked by the demon he had been in contact with. With newly-found knowledge of Biblical truth, Colton turned to faith is Jesus for salvation and was radically transformed by Him.

Today Colton is happily married and a father, he teaches a Bible class and is involved in a counseling ministry, as well as a ministry in Pakistan which points people to Jesus.
