Summary
SummaryI’m Adolfina from San Andrés Yaá. After planting a church on my father’s land, our community rose against us—my husband, Pastor Imeldo, was jailed and our building torn down in a storm. Expelled and destitute, we fought for justice until Open Doors stepped in to cover our legal fees. In 2020, COVID-19 claimed Imeldo’s life. Though my heart aches, I’ve seen God’s faithfulness through prayer support and socio-economic aid. Today, I cling to His promise, grateful for every brother and sister who stands with me. 🙏❤️
When Adolfina and her husband Imeldo returned to their hometown of San Andrés Yaá to plant a church, opposition from the community grew. The couple eventually had to leave the town but received support from Open Doors.
“The only thing I ask of Open Doors and the brothers all over the world is to continue praying for us,” says Adolfina.
