One night in my work truck, a preacher’s message pierced through the darkness, and I felt God’s presence so tangibly that I surrendered everything. My daughter’s drawing of a cross and dove confirmed He was with me, and I moved in with my grandparents to honor God. Through seven years of trials in Colorado—losing jobs, financial pressures, and parenting struggles—He never left me. At a kitchen-table confrontation, I realized I hadn’t truly placed my trust in Christ, and I prayed for salvation. Suddenly the Holy Spirit flooded my heart like a brand-new penny found, covering my shame and restoring my identity. God brought us full circle back to our home church in Gainesville, and now He’s using us in youth ministry and church construction. 🎉🙏
