Summary

I was a former Navy rescue swimmer, climbing Mount Everest solo after my Sherpa turned back due to illness. 🏔️ At the summit, 29,035 feet up, I celebrated briefly, but on the descent, snow blindness struck suddenly, leaving me completely blind in the death zone. 😵 With no one to help, I faced falls, avalanches, and running out of oxygen, but a peaceful presence guided me every step. 🙏 When I couldn't go on, I dropped to my knees and prayed for help, and miraculously, energy surged through me, allowing me to continue. 🔥 After 33 hours of blind descent, I made it back to camp, my eyesight returning slowly over weeks. This experience pivoted my life, teaching me to surrender control and rely on God's strength. ✝️
