Summary

I was part of a documentary called “One Ruler – The Power of Persecuted Church,” which highlights our experiences as believers facing restrictions and hostility for our faith. In my case, I shared how government surveillance and arrests became a daily reality in China, yet our underground house churches continued to multiply. Another believer, formerly a hardline Muslim in Sudan, recounted how he once violently persecuted a Christian classmate but later encountered the transforming love of Christ. Despite imprisonment, torture, and even seeing family members renounce them, persecuted Christians have seen their faith flourish under pressure. The documentary reveals that genuine joy and endurance spring from daily trusting God’s Word, embracing community prayer, and being unafraid to share Jesus—whether in a secret gathering or even from a prison cell. Though risking everything, our testimonies show the unstoppable power of the gospel in the darkest of places.
