SummaryI grew up hearing all the right ways to live, but most of it didn’t stick. I fell into partying and self‐destruction until I found myself alone on an Iowa roadside, contemplating ending my life. In my darkest moment, I remembered Set Free Ministries and walked through their doors—unsure what would happen but desperate for grace. Through their teaching of Hebrews 12:15, prayer, repentance, and forgiveness, God lifted the bitterness and suicidal thoughts that had plagued me. Today, I live free, using my painful past to offer compassion and hope to others still hurting.
