Hello, I’m Sammy from Sussex. I grew up with a traditional but mildly dysfunctional family, with my father suffering from depression. At age 12, after watching a science program, I became an atheist, which led me into a bleak period of heavy drinking and feeling purposeless. Seeking answers, I immersed myself in New Age practices like raiki, meditation, tarot, and law of attraction, which brought temporary happiness but left me spiritually empty. Around age 30, after a personal bereavement, I experienced sleep paralysis and spiritual warfare, prompting me to cast out demons in the name of Jesus. This led to several nights of spiritual battles, lucid dreams, and physical manifestations like scratch marks and warts. Through these experiences, I realized the reality of demons and the existence of Jesus, leading to my conversion. I found peace and a newfound desire to share Jesus’s love with others, abandoning my New Age practices and embracing Christianity wholeheartedly.
