Summary

I grew up surrounded by church but never truly knew Jesus until my life was shattered by an 8‐year toxic relationship filled with emotional, physical, and verbal abuse. I stayed in that relationship because I longed for love and validation, even as I suffered assault and manipulation. Over time, the pain and broken trust became unbearable. Through my parents’ fervent prayers and the gentle intervention of a caring church community, I began to realize that the love I had been chasing was not from man but from Jesus. In my darkest moments—when my daughter’s safety and my own identity were at stake—I cried out to God. That is when I experienced a powerful transformation: the burden of abuse and toxic patterns was lifted, and I found true freedom and restoration in Christ. Today, I share my testimony to encourage others struggling in similar broken relationships to seek the healing and true love that only Jesus can provide.
