At five years old, Laurie experienced a tragic head injury, which led to near death. She was met by Jesus, and what follows is an account as told by her adult self in a childlike fashion that carries over from Heaven. Whenever Laurie talks about meeting Jesus in Heaven, she seems to return to that childlike innocence of a little girl who met the One who loves her most.
