Summary

I grew up in a secular Jewish family in Israel, doing all the usual holidays but never really knowing God. After moving to the United States to visit my mom, I stayed with her at a Hindu commune but felt unsatisfied with the teachings and practices there. Driven to find true spiritual fulfillment, I decided to read the New Testament—partly out of curiosity and partly to see what was supposedly so bad about it. To my surprise, I found a book deeply rooted in Jewish culture and filled with hope. While reading the Gospel of John, I realized that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Jewish Messiah. Overcoming my initial reluctance, I knelt alone in my room and surrendered my life to Him, experiencing an inner certainty that I had finally found the truth. Though there were no dramatic lights or visions, I knew in my heart that I’d encountered the God of Israel in His Son, Jesus.
