SummaryI grew up in a broken home, witnessing my father’s abuse and finding myself drawn into a life of drugs, alcohol, and gambling. For 24 years, I battled addiction, anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. In 2021, after resisting twice, I joined a D-group and encountered God through Scripture and prayer. Though I stumbled, I finally surrendered my life to Him, confessing my sins and receiving His forgiveness via 1 John 1:9. Since then, I’ve been sober, publicly declared my faith through water baptism in July 2022, and honored God in my marriage in September 2023. Today, I lead Bible studies with my children and serve Christ’s Commission Fellowship, celebrating the peace only Jesus can give.
