My name is Kent Hovind, and I’d like to share how the Lord guided me through a challenging chapter of my life. From teaching creation science worldwide and debating evolutionists, I found myself unexpectedly arrested for so-called ‘structuring’—a charge I didn’t fully understand. Despite being sentenced to nine years in prison, I witnessed God’s hand at work. In confinement, I wrote books, led Bible studies, and saw hundreds of men come to know Jesus as Savior. Even in the darkest moments, God strengthened me and used that season to expand my ministry and deepen my faith. After my release, though many legal battles persisted, God has remained faithful, restoring my resolve to continue preaching the truth of creation and salvation in Christ. Today, I encourage others that even through injustice or hardship, Jesus offers hope, transformation, and purpose for every step of life’s journey.
