My name is Jeff Burkes, and my journey to faith in Jesus began with the harrowing task of identifying victims of 9/11. Raised in the Bronx in a Jewish family, I viewed Christianity as anti-Semitic and rejected the New Testament. However, the overwhelming reality of evil I witnessed led me to search for goodness, which I found in God. A Jewish believer introduced me to the gospel, and I realized Jesus is the promised Messiah. Through studying scripture, I discovered the truth of the resurrection and accepted Jesus into my life. His guidance has transformed me, bringing peace and redemption.
