Summary
SummaryπββοΈ Iβm Anthony βChampβ Calvary, a pastorβs kid who rebelled for 25 years. From paint and glue to cocaine, speed and alcohol, I destroyed my body and marriage. Two miraculous escapes from car crashes showed Godβs mercy, yet I ranβuntil my dad lay dying of COVID. In my parentsβ room I finally cried out, confessed every sin, and Jesus set me freeβinstantly. No cravings, no cursing, just peace. Dad passed two days later, but God carried me. Now I serve at Reach Church, love my wife and son, and proclaim: never quit prayingβChrist still saves and delivers! π₯π
Tony Champ Calvary or just Champ, as his friends and family called him, a pastor’s son, struggled with drug addiction from an early age. He was rebellious and defiant, starting to use drugs at 15 and leading a reckless life. His parents, who were pastors, found it heartbreaking and challenging to manage their ministry while dealing with Champ’s turbulent behavior.
From the age of 15 to 40, Champ consumed large amounts of various drugs almost daily. Eventually, he grew weary of this lifestyle and sought a way out, ultimately finding hope in Jesus Christ.
