My name is Nicole and I spent years searching for inner peace through New Age practices like yoga, meditation, and consulting psychics. Despite having a great life on paper with a loving family, academic success, and a supportive boyfriend, I felt an overwhelming void. I even traveled to Europe hoping to fill that emptiness, but returned more confused. One night, a chance encounter with a psychic—who had a Bible displayed—sparked my curiosity. I began reading the Bible and discovered that true peace and identity are found in Jesus Christ. This revelation transformed my life, proving that the promises of the gospel far outweigh the empty allure of New Age practices.

Do you feel empty and sad? Many are looking to fill a void by seeking answers from psychics, palm reading, tarot reading and fortune tellers. Nicole thought she was “finding herself” through a spiritual journey which included: meditation, enlightenment, the secret, chakra, energy medicine, the power of now, law of attraction, and Eckhart Tolle. Through many experiences, she discovered what was truth and what was a lie.

Each person has heard the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ and believed in it wholeheartedly. Each christian testimony describes what it looks like to follow Jesus and be forever changed by the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives. When you have saving faith, along with repentance in Jesus Christ (death, burial and resurrection) – you become a believer. You become adopted into the family of God. You begin to hate what God hates, and love what God loves. It’s almost has if you have new eyes and see the world through the cross and resurrection of Jesus.
