The heart of Rainbow in the Night (narrative documentary movie) lies in its use of storytelling to provide a beautiful view of God’s redeeming grace and love. Goldie tells her life story without a script. It is told with raw emotion and transparency as she shares about her painful childhood where she experienced physical and emotional abuse, depression, and hopelessness. When the devastation of a 2nd trimester abortion in 1970 drove this young Jewish hippie girl into darkness and despair, she was compelled to surrender her painful past to the Lord. In the movie Goldie unravels the mystery of how the Lord gently but firmly lifted her up and out of that place of darkness and despair and into the multicolored rainbow of His love.
