Summary
SummaryI’m Fadi, and I grew up in Baghdad when war turned my city into a battlefield. 💥 I studied by candlelight amidst power cuts, watched bombs and kidnappings become everyday horrors, and saw churches burned—all while holding onto faith. Yet God’s mercy kept me safe, and I stayed to serve as a lay leader, opening church doors to displaced families, offering food, trauma care, and hope. 🙏 Now I pray for peace’s return, trusting that He will rebuild our nation and our hearts. 🕊️🔥
As a young boy living in Baghdad, Fadi experienced a lot of trauma when the Iraq war broke out in 2003. But Fadi has stayed to serve as a lay leader in his church.
