Summary

My name is Cody and I’m 39, from Belding, Michigan. I was once deep in the grips of heroin addictionβ€”spending years in jail and prison, enduring multiple overdoses and even suicide attempts. In the midst of my darkest moments, while in a rehab facility and after a near-fatal cocaine incident, I experienced a life-changing vision of Jesus. I saw Him in a white gown with a hood, and His presence shattered the chains of my addiction. That divine encounter led me to repentance, and through surrendering my life to Christ, I was delivered from my past. Now, 22 months later, I serve at a city church in Rockford, lead intercession and outreach, and testify on the streets. My journey is a testimony to the transforming power of Jesus’ grace, which has restored my hope, healed my broken relationships, and given me a new purpose in life.

From heroin addict to son of God.

Cody was in and out of both jail and prison, suffered numerous s*icide attempts, multiple heroin overdoses and went to 5 rehab treatment centers.

It was in one of those facilities where Cody gave his life to Christ.

2+ years later, he is serving for his local church, leading youth group, and evangelizing on the streets.
