Summary

I grew up in a Southern Baptist home but never truly knew Jesus, and eventually drifted into New Age beliefs. I relied on psychedelics like LSD and MDMA, practiced magic, tarot cards, Kundalini yoga, and believed I could heal or awaken spiritually through these means. My world became filled with fear, paranoia, and chilling demonic experiences—yet I kept chasing what I thought was ‘light.’ Everything changed when I missed a flight by moments and met a woman who approached me, saying the Holy Spirit led her to me. Her words piercely resonated as genuine love and truth. I realized Jesus was not just another deity but the true, living God who offered real freedom from the darkness that consumed me. Surrendering my life to Him lifted a tremendous burden. Now, instead of chasing false light, I know the One who is the true Light of the world, and He’s brought me lasting hope and peace I never found in any spiritual techniques or substances.
