Summary🙋🏾‍♂️ I’m Henry Olonga—once the fiery fast-bowler who helped Zimbabwe win its first Test, now a follower of Jesus who loves to sing His praise. 🏃🏾 Born in Zambia, raised across Kenya and Zimbabwe, sport was my language—cricket, rugby, track. At 16 a camp preacher’s words hit home; I invited Christ into my heart. ✝️ 🌊 Years later a Sri-Lankan rip-tide dragged me under. “God, help!” I gasped. A teammate rowed out just in time. 🚗 Back home armed thugs hijacked my car. Nose bleeding, gun at my head, I prayed again. They suddenly let me go. 🏏 In 2003 I protested Mugabe’s tyranny with a black armband; a warrant followed. South-Africa-bound qualification required rain—and a cyclone drifted 500 mi to Bulawayo, washing the match out and opening my escape route. ⛈️ Today I tell businessmen and dreamers alike: come, drink the water of life. Jesus rescued me on the field, in the ocean, on a dark street—He’ll rescue you too! 🙌
