Summary

My name is Jim Barbarossa and together with my wife we founded Step-by-Step Ministries. Three days after I came to know Jesus as my Savior, our church invited a young man, Raymond Moore, to teach us how to write our personal salvation testimonies. I immediately wrote my testimony, printed 25 copies, and began sharing them—changing lives right from that first encounter. Over the years, that simple act evolved into the creation of Real Life Stories Testimony Books. From the original edition that I call the ‘original facebook’ of testimonies, to specialized formats like the prison book, truckers edition, veterans edition, and even a Spanish language lighthouse edition, our ministry has grown and multiplied. We’ve developed creative, grassroots methods to distribute these books—in grocery stores, at truck stops, through vehicle and bulletin board outreaches, and even on vacation. Our vision has scaled from printing a million books over years to a goal of one million books a year, all while relying on God’s guidance to reach lost souls locally and globally. This is my testimony: a journey of transformation, creative evangelism, and the relentless sharing of the Gospel.
