Summary
SummaryI first said "yes" to Jesus as a child, but growing up I wrestled in secret with same-sex attraction. My first homosexual experience in college left me buried in guilt and shame. For years I cycled between acting out and trying to fix myself—promising God I’d never do it again, going to church, and still falling back. One day I read in Watermark’s news about CR and couldn’t believe my struggle was named on the list. I was skeptical that a church—or even God—could handle my mess. Through CR, hard questions, and a leader who asked, “Do you want to get better?”, I finally surrendered. I clung to God’s Word daily, holding Him to His promises because He is faithful. Step by step, He led me into freedom, restored my identity, and surprised me with a rich marriage. Then He blessed us with a little girl—we named her Hope. There is hope and new life in Jesus.
