Elvis Wade was the first Elvis impersonator, and the first and only one to receive a standing ovation from Elvis Presley himself. His life was portrayed in the hit film, The Identical, starring Ray Liotta and Ashley Judd (see YouTube link below to watch the full length movie). While selling-out stadiums during his performances, Wade (“Elvis”) Cummins faced two catastrophes. The death of his beloved daughter nearly killed him, and caused him to stop performing. But then a miracle happened. Wade saw his deceased daughter with Jesus! Other miracles followed, including the transformation of one of the most famed performers in the world.
