Cris used to not be a model husband and father. He was unfaithful to his wife. He physically and verbally abused his kids. His family was also buried in debt. An acquaintance kept inviting him to CCF and he kept brushing them off. In 2007, however, he relented and their family attended the CCF anniversary service. The message that day touched the heart of his wife that she brought the family to CCF every Sunday after that. Cris, however, did not stop his sinful ways. The fights at home got more heated and his kids resented him. In the seemingly darkest moments of his life, God opened Cris’ eyes and showed him His way when they attended a couples’ retreat. Things began happening to Cris’ life. What used to be a hunger for the things of this world was now replaced with the hunger for the Word of God.
